Port Listing

British families still dominate the Port business, in the steeply terraced vineyards of the Douro Valley. Sun baked grapes are fermented briefly and then brandy is added to keep the wine sweet. It is matured in several styles - a long period in wood gives tawny wines, while long bottle maturation gives vintage wine its character.
